· Demonstrate an understanding of client’s business and strategies in order to provide effective design solutions.

· Develop long term, profitable alliance with our clients

· Lead and direct the development and execution of simple to complex design concepts to meet client objectives and requests

· Proven ability to work on a strategic level with Creative Directors, Account Executive’s and Project Manager’s to manage and create dimensional brand strategies for products, experiences, environments, messages and services for our clients.

· Take creative lead (own) and help manage internal and external resources necessary to produce effective design solutions

· Participate with Account Executives, Account Managers, and other pertinent personnel in the client communication process.

· Create, develop and present three dimensional environment solutions and other design requests for Star and its customers.

· Demonstrate the ability to translate clients’ objectives into branded actionable messages that meet there marketing objectives and sales goals.

· Senior Level Designers must have confidence in presenting to small and large groups and at an executive level in order to influence action. 

· Develop and support the Star Exhibit & Environment culture, mission, and values within the Company.

QUALIFICATIONS                    

· 5+ years experience working in a design environment (exhibit/environmental design, architecture, agency, EGD firm, etc.) 

· Mac skills in 3D software required - Form Z preferred.  AutoCAD, Illustrator, Photoshop and Microsoft Office also preferred

· Strong presentation skills

· Detail oriented, team player and act as a team leader

· Good planning, organizational and interpersonal skills

· Able to work to meet timelines on a variety of multiple projects

· Personal management skills

· Bachelors degree in design or related field

· Ability to learn and grow in the effort to support our company goals

· Excellent communication and problem solving skills

EDUCATION     Bachelor’s degree required.
