In this tutorial we'll learn how to create a simple perspective object. Perspective adds an illusion of distance and depth to your 2d objects.
Choose and create a shape.
Go to Effects>Add Perspective.
Your object should now have a mesh over it with four drag handles, one at each corner of the mesh.
You can move the drag handles in any direction to start adding perspective to your object.
Continue to drag the handles around to see what you can come up with.
When you start moving drag handles you'll also notice an 'X' outside the perspective mesh. You can use this to move the vantage point where you want it.
You can hold down the CTRL key to constrain a drag handles to a vertical or horizontal axis. Also, you can hold down the CTRL + SHIFT to move opposing nodes an equal distance in opposite directions.
Again, by dragging the 'X' you can change the vantage point.
